The number of lanes has increased to three, and the traffic flow has also improved<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good news for motorists: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed\u00a0road works\u00a0at the intersection of Al Wasl Street and Al Manara Street, resulting in the improvement of road capacity by 50 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of lanes has also increased to three, and the traffic flow and waiting time have also improved by up to 30 per cent, RTA added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The road project involved adding a new lane for vehicles heading from Al Manara Street towards Sheikh Zayed Road, along with introducing a dedicated U-turn Lane for traffic in the same direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RTA<\/a> said they are \u201cpressing ahead with the implementation of 2025 Traffic Improvement Plan, which focuses on expanding Dubai\u2019s road network, enhancing connectivity across major corridors, and increasing traffic efficiency along routes parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road and in key areas such as Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, and Al Safa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese efforts align with (our) strategy to improve road safety, ensure seamless movement between internal districts, and ease congestion in high-traffic zones,\u201d RTA added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
